For everyone that was able to attend, thank you for coming to our 10th High School reunion! If you were not able to make it, perhaps you’ll be able to make it next time (2016 for our 15th year). Everyone seemed to have a good time catching up and meeting each others families.

Keep checking the website for updates and we’ll do our best to contact people.  Be sure keep us updated with any address changes, including e-mail addresses.

The seed for this reunion was planted when Charmaine Davis reached out to me and said “hey do you need help planning?” That was the push we needed to get things rolling! A huge thank you to the other half of the reunion planning committee, Monique Wingard, and Michael Smith! Please think about participating in planning the next reunion and let us know if you would like to help.

Class Mass Survey Responses/Decision and Additional Updates

Hi Class!

The Class Mass survey results are in! Only 20 people responded with 4 people voting to have mass at St. Pats, 10 people indicating they would not attend mass on Sunday. 6 people are interested in having a class mass at CCHS, however, that is not enough for us to plan one. There is no possibility of doing a joint mass as we originally thought as it was discovered that the Class of ’56’s reunion in on another weekend in September. Based on the results and the lack of interest, the committee has decided to hold mass at St. Pat’s Historic. We will tell Fr. Denny of our attendance that Sunday so that he may acknowledge us during the service.

Also, the Saturday reunion evening gathering location has been changed. It will now be held at Manhattan’s. Manhattan’s has a special CCHS connection (our classmate Chelsea’s parents own the establishment). Check in will begin at 6:30 pm, class dinner at 7:00 pm. Music starts at 9:00 pm!

Those are all the updates we have for now. Also, I noticed that 20 people responded to the survey even though we only have 17 people officially registered to attend reunion weekend! As a reminder, July 31st is the EARLY registration deadline ($35 per adult person). After July 31st, the price to attend will go up ($50 per person). August 15th is the deadline to register for our 10 Year Reunion! We have a great weekend planned, so don’t miss out…register today!

Survey responses needed for Class Mass on Sunday, September 18, 2011

Several classmates have expressed an interest in attending mass together as a class on Sunday, September 18th.  We have two options:

1. Mass presided by Father Dennis Hartigan (CCHS President) at The Historic Church of Saint Patrick (downtown Toledo). Visit St. Pat’s Historic website for information on the church.

2. Mass at CCHS. We would need to provide a Priest.
